What a week. Today I’m driving and thinking of all the fun we had in the wonderful and welcoming city of Minot North Dakota.
I had fun teasing the amazing John Holly at opening ceremonies (isn’t he just a gem? What a voice) and watching folks learn new skills like knitting, spinning, and even skating! Seeing all those warm homemade hats, mittens and scarves warmed my heart. I just want to say well done to all those creative people, and thanks to Anna Brandon and her team for making it happen. All the items went to the Backpack Buddies program to keep folks warm this winter. And the money and food donations were unbelievable! Over $40,000 raised. Wow. Well done, Airstreamers.

This rally had something for everyone. The Prom was a hoot and folks really got dolled up. Our band played some top-notch music this year and it did not disappoint. It amazes me how they manage to pull that off in such a short time. The chorus brought the pipes too!!
Our social media teams took over each day and worked the rally and the crowds. They were spectacular and so fun to watch our Stream Team.
I especially enjoyed visiting the different gatherings of Intra-Clubs such as Vintage and Pride and, of course, Stella’s Sisters. All the clubs seemed to have a great week. I just wish I had been able to visit every meal and every single get-together. My dear friend Lynda Hallmark Gammage gets a special shoutout for keeping me on schedule and on time! A perfect girl Friday!

Vintage Airstream that belongs to Christine Kirk, BRN 1961, that was featured in the Vintage Parade.
Kudos to our parking and arrivals teams who made it look so easy. The fairgrounds has a contract with a local septic company and they sure proved their worth. They worked with smiles and great attitudes all week. Stacey Daniel, the pump-out queen, wouldn’t have it any other way. Seeing members of the IBT work the welcome table for Jan Heavener and her amazing crew made me smile so big.
Our sponsors worked hard to bring all sorts of items and lessons. The vendor Boss team, Rich and Cindy Collins, made sure we had a fantastic selection in a well-run space.
Our rally team, as always, worked hard before during and after, to make sure you all had the time of your lives. And by the time you read this they will be meeting and planning Rock Springs 2027!
I saw folks work the Ambassador program with smiles and some fabulous dance moves.
The weather cooperated for the most part. Other than one rainy night, it was perfect. Sunny days and cooler nights. It was great camping weather.

I can’t call out and comment on every person who made this rally special, but what I can do is say each and every one of you showed your true colors. Volunteers and attendees alike wearing big smiles and acting with open hearts make me so very proud to call you my family.
When bad stuff happens, you pull together and work to heal. You showed us that in Minot. What a community of incredible humans.
