By now, many of you have seen the newest trailer in the Airstream arsenal and it is beautiful. It was built in partnership with Stetson and the now-famous 6666 Ranch. If you are a fan of the Yellowstone television series, you know what ranch! I had the good fortune of visiting two of them, along with many other brand-new Airstreams at our local dealership, Airstream of DFW. Located in Fort Worth — 109 N. Chandler Dr. — I made the trip along with others from my local club.
Once there, we discovered quite an elaborate setup. Starting with valet parking, we were welcomed in by staff who verified our reservations. It was a ticketed event limited to an attendance of 200.

Inside the showroom was transformed into party central. A great food truck was there with real Texas barbecue, brisket, and the works. Along with trays of cheese, crackers, meats and fruit, there were also cookies and sweet treats. A full bar provided themed cocktails and other refreshments.
They rolled out the new rigs for us to tour and even had Carey Walley, Airstream director of marketing, in from Jackson Center to talk about the collaboration among Airstream, Stetson, and the 6666 Ranch. With live music and a caricature artist for our entertainment, we all had a great time.
Airstream of DFW has embraced the club and works well with our Region 9 team in supporting our rallies and gatherings. We have seen an increase in that team feeling here, and hope that is happening all across the country.

Last month, I also had the opportunity to visit folks with the Pride Streamers Intra-Club as they enjoyed a rally down in Waco, Texas. They were gathered from as close as Austin and as far as Hawaii! People from the Carolinas, Minnesota and Washington state were in attendance. It was a lovely evening sharing stories and planning adventures. We had perfect weather for the meet-up.
This gathering was a showcase of why our Intra-Clubs have become such a vital part of our organization. Mixing camping with special interests such as music, fishing, vintage trailers, solo travel, and more, can only enhance the experiences we are all seeking.
My travel focus in the coming year will be seeing club members and attending new rallies, as all these activities bring new ideas and fresh perspectives. Remember to share your ideas for new rallies and gatherings.
My wish for you all is a spring filled with plenty of new adventures. Safe travels.
– Millie
