As our Grapes & Grains Intra-Club has swelled to more than 1,500 members from across the United States and Canada, we are looking for non-profit organizations to support.
While our rallies raise money for local charities, we are looking for ways to be philanthropic on a larger scale.
I would like to propose on this national day of giving that each Local Club, Region and Intra-Club look into your checking accounts and consider contributing to the WBCCI Foundation.
The WBCCI Foundation has selected these Global Impact Non-Profit Partners that have a Mission that aligns with our Vision and Mission:
Tread Lightly
- Tread Lightly! is a national nonprofit organization with a mission to promote responsible recreation through stewardship programs and ethics education. Tread Lightly’s educational message, along with its unique training and restoration initiatives are strategically designed to instill an ethic of responsibility in outdoor enthusiasts and the industries that serve them.
National Forests Foundation
- National Forests Foundation: Chartered by Congress, engages Americans in community-based and national programs that promote the health and public enjoyment of the 193-million-acre National Forest System, and administers private gifts of funds and land for the benefit of the National Forests.
National Parks Foundation
- National Parks Foundation: Strives to ensure that all people are welcome and able to discover their own personal connections to our National Parks. National parks tell the story of America, in all its beauty and imperfection, and the NPF is committed to sharing these essential and vital stories.
4Ocean
- 4Ocean: Another organization that the Foundation supports by using funds for the WBCCI Membership to purchase clean-up kits and to create drives to support the cleanup of waterways during our Local, Regional and International Rallies.
As the largest club in the Airstream world, the Grapes & Grains Intra-Club will be donating $250 to the WBCCI Foundation. I encourage other clubs, regions, and individuals to consider contributing as well.
