HILLSBORO, Texas – Organizers of the Wally’s Workshop Airstream Maintenance Rally (held at North Texas Airstream Community) are proud to announce that their recent event successfully raised $4,500 to benefit Hillsboro Interfaith Ministries (HIM).
The rally, which brought together 66 rigs and 115 club members for a weekend of technical workshops and community building, focused its fundraising efforts on supporting local families in need. The proceeds went directly to HIM, an organization dedicated to providing essential services, including food pantry access and emergency financial assistance, to the Hillsboro community.
“Our goal was to combine our passion for maintaining these iconic trailers with a commitment to the town that hosts us,” said Anna Brandon, Airstream Club International’s Region 9, First Vice President. “The generosity shown by the participants and donors ensures that Hillsboro Interfaith Ministries can continue their critical mission of helping our neighbors through difficult times.”
Hillsboro Interfaith Ministries relies on community support to maintain its safety net for local residents. This donation will provide a significant boost to their upcoming seasonal programs and daily operations.
