One of the reasons people are drawn to the Airstream lifestyle is the power of a recognizable brand. The iconic silver silhouette of an Airstream is instantly familiar because it has been carefully protected and consistently represented for generations.
The same is true for the Airstream Club. For more than 70 years, our identity has stood for friendship, travel, volunteerism, and a shared passion for the Airstream lifestyle. Every rally program, website, social media post, newsletter, and event banner contributes to how members — current and future alike — see our organization.

Our Brand Story
Our brand is more than a logo. It reflects the history and evolution of our Club.
Over the years, our organization has been known by several names:
- Wally Byam Caravan Club (1957)
- Wally Byam Caravan Club International (1963)
- Wally Byam Airstream Club
- Airstream Club International
Each name represents an important chapter in our story. While Airstream Club International serves as our primary marketing identity today, our legal name remains Wally Byam Caravan Club International, Inc., and our historic branding continues to honor our legacy.
Strong brands evolve while staying connected to their roots. That’s why all official Club logos and historical marks are protected by our Brand Guide and trademark licensing requirements. These assets should always be used as provided and never recreated, altered, or replaced with unofficial versions.
Why Brand Consistency Matters
Brand integrity means using our visual identity, messaging, and values consistently. Whether someone encounters the Club at an International Rally, a Region event, a Unit gathering, or online, they should immediately recognize who we are.
Consistency:
- Builds trust
- Creates a professional appearance
- Helps members identify official Club communications
- Strengthens recognition of the Airstream Club brand
Even small changes to logos, colors, or design elements can weaken that recognition over time.
Using the Brand Guide
The Airstream Club Brand Guide provides standards for:
- Official logos and logo variations
- Approved colors and typography
- Proper logo usage and spacing
- Visual design standards
The guide isn’t intended to limit creativity. It provides a consistent foundation that allows Regions, Units, and event organizers to create unique materials while maintaining a recognizable Club identity.
AI Artwork and Branding
Artificial intelligence can be a useful tool for creating rally and event artwork, but it should complement—not replace—our official branding.
When using AI-generated artwork:
- Focus prompts on themes, destinations, scenery, activities, and local attractions.
- Do not use AI to recreate Airstream, Inc. trademarks, logos, or copyrighted artwork.
- Do not create alternate versions of Airstream Club logos.
- Always use official Club logos exactly as provided.
- Ensure final designs follow Club brand standards and approved colors.
As good brand stewards, it’s very important to review and revise artwork created by AI as it often tries to recreate copyrighted material in a new way.
Protecting What Makes Us Recognizable
Every volunteer, officer, editor, webmaster, and event organizer plays a role in protecting the Airstream Club brand.
Our brand represents far more than a logo or color palette. It reflects decades of friendships, adventures, volunteer service, and memories shared by members across North America. By following our Brand Guide and using official brand assets consistently, we preserve that legacy and ensure future generations will recognize and value the Club we all cherish.
